Gather Listing Documentation
- Collect all required listing documents from the agent or seller, including:
- Listing Agreement (signed by all parties)
- Seller’s Property Disclosure Statement
- Lead-Based Paint Disclosure (if applicable)
- Any HOA documentation or community disclosures
Input Listing Data into MLS System
- Enter all property details into the MLS database, such as:
- Property address, square footage, lot size, year built
- Bedroom/bathroom count, features, upgrades
- Listing price, terms, and showing instructions
Upload Photos and Media
- Upload high-resolution images, virtual tours, and/or video walk-throughs
- Ensure photos meet MLS specifications (e.g., no branding or watermarks)
Verify Compliance with MLS Rules
- Double-check that all required fields are completed accurately
- Confirm the listing meets local MLS formatting and submission guidelines
- Ensure fair housing compliance in all listing language and photos
Submit and Confirm Listing Activation
- Officially submit the listing to the MLS for publication
- Confirm the listing goes live and verify with Agent
